If Pentax was an automobile manufacturer..who would it be the equivalent of? A ford, a porsche, a bmw, an alfa romeo? I mean in terms of being up against the likes of say, Nikon or Canon….Is pentax considered an el cheapo version of these two brands or does it hold it own in the playing field of photography. Would a full on proffesional photographer choose a Pentax over a Canon camera for instance? Or is this brand what Squire is to fender? In terms of quality not so much marketing where does it sit??
